Grab your pen and paper and take some time to score yourself in the following on a scale of 1 to 10. Fill in the dots in each sector starting from to center moving outwards according to the score you gave yourself. Be honest with yourself and go through the questions in each block to think of different areas.

As everybody is different, it may be that some areas don’t matter to you that much. But still, it’s important to look into yourself and ask if my current situation is in sync with my personality, meaning the engagement is just as little or as much as you would like it to be without feeling left out or forcing yourself to do something you’d rather not.

So when going through the list, keep in mind that this isn’t the score of how well you meet what your friends, family, and society expect from you, but it’s the score of how the current situation meets your expectations about this.

Becoming aware of every aspect of your life allows you to redefine your goals, focus, and values, and give an honest evaluation of the steps you’ve already taken to determine what’s working for you and what isn’t. Try making it a habit to do this evaluation every month or every other month, every quarter of year or the frequency that feels best to you.
